Case 01.
When only the front chin is long
In T-osteotomy, the bone of the front chin is cut in a T shape and brought together.
GENIOPLASTY
Reducing the chin to fit your facial proportions
for a slim, balanced face
A small, slim facial line with the chin osteotomy that suits you!
The V-line of the face is largely determined by the tip of the chin. Because many nerves pass through the chin, the surgery calls for the skilled technique and know-how of a specialist, with delicate and meticulous adjustment of the length and width of the chin tip.
You may consider chin osteotomy if any of the four conditions below apply to you.
There are two methods, depending on the condition of the front chin.
Case 01.
In T-osteotomy, the bone of the front chin is cut in a T shape and brought together.
Case 02.
A surgical method that combines T-osteotomy with square jaw reduction, which removes part of the square jaw.
Incision inside the mouth,
so no visible scar
A smaller face
with greater definition
Safe surgery that
avoids the nerve line
Quick recovery for
a fast return to daily life
For a refined, well-defined jawline!
A weak chin (receding chin) is a condition in which the chin tip does not project forward enough, making the lower part of the face look small. It may be that the entire lower jaw is small, or that only the chin tip is small. A small lower jaw overall is very rare, and improving the chin with implants or surgery to create a V-line is called weak chin surgery.
Weak Chin Self-Check
A weak chin is corrected in three ways.
The chin tip bone is cut horizontally, advanced forward, and fixed in place with metal bone pins or bone screws.
An implant of a size and shape suited to the individual, such as silicone, Gore-Tex, or an artificial bone called Medpor, is inserted through an incision in the mucosa inside the mouth.
When the chin looks weak because the chin tip lacks volume, this method corrects it by adding volume to the front chin with filler injections.
The position of the chin tip shapes the impression of the entire side profile.
Bleeding, infection, and inflammation may occur after surgery or procedures, so careful attention is required.
